First Thaw Nitro Tea made with Maple Nectar
The Cove Coffee Shop® and Beverage Company in Ontario, Ohio has developed a healthy, natural tea like no other in the world. Our First Thaw ™ Nitro Teas are made with a combination of our Maple Nectar™ , organic teas, fruit and nitrogen infusions to create a healthy refreshing drink like no other in the world .
The sap from the Sugar Maple Trees (Acer saccharum) contain 45 different minerals and electrolytes. Sap from the Acer saccharum contains an impressive mineral analysis, including potassium, calcium and magnesium. All 3 of these minerals are essential for optimal bone health. The Cove Beverage Company has developed a process to create what we call Maple Nectar™ from sap using a state-of-the-art set of processes that has been a key ingredient in our beverages.
We collect the maple sap in the springtime, right when we have the first winter thaws (First Thaw ™) . The sap is headed up the tree to start to develop the buds and is full of nutrients that it produced and filtered in the root system of the tree. Then using our start of the art collection system that allows us to tap thousands of trees, we collect the sap. The sap then goes through some very secret processes and treatments to allow it to be a part of our infusions.
After we have the sap we begin our infusion processes with organic teas and natural flavorings. The final products is aged, placed into kegs, chilled. Then it is ready to be served or placed in our 16 oz cans.
